At NÜTY we offer a wide range of homestyle food (curries, Biryanis and Breakfast) which can be a true substitute to home-made food and perfectly suited for your everyday consumption.

NÜTY is available on-demand through our delivery partners or in-store at hundreds of retail locations and soon you would be able to subscribe using our WhatsApp based eCommerce platform.

NÜTY homestyle curries can be stored in your refrigerator for as long as 30 days and you can simply reheat using a microwave or in hot water for a few minutes. Hooray - you have homestyle curries without hassle of ordering or waiting at any time of the day or night.

A team of food scientists and nutritionists work alongside our chefs to help maintain excellent hygiene and achieve consistency in nutrition and taste profile of every meal produced in our kitchen.

One of the bigger challenges is to extend the shelf-life without compromising the flavor and nutrition of the food, We have developed various techniques and employ various methods including High Pressure Processing (HPP), the same technology that brings cold-pressed juices.

RAY NATHAN Co-Founder

Ray is the co-founder and CEO of NÜTY .

Behind the story of NÜTY is the journey and discovery of personal health and well-being of the founders.

Entrepreneurial by nature, Ray embarked on his first venture, iPlanet Solutions, in 2001 after completing his post-graduate studies in eCommerce at Deakin University, Melbourne.

During his early years as entrepreneur, working long and often stressful hours combined with poor eating choices, Ray experienced his first major health challenge when he was 35. Upon recovery, Ray prioritized his personal health and well-being and transformed his eating habits and personal lifestyle. Ray traveled around the world to understand how people, food and culture. In particular, he was fascinated by the connection between food and individual and societal well-being. Ray has traveled to over 45 countries in Asia, Australia, Africa and Americas.

Ray also lived in Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Paris, San Francisco and New York which helped him to develop an acute understanding of the impact of modern eating habits among people in different cultural and socio-economic conditions.

Ray returned to India in 2017 to pursue the venture close to his heart, along with his old friend and partner, Naveen Chander, in order to make good food affordable and accessible. Together they formed “Tulita Ahara” (Sanskrit for Balanced-Diet), to bring back the long-advocated need for good balance in diet for health and harmony.

NÜTY was born after nearly 3 years of research and development using proprietary and advanced food production technology such as HPP (High Pressure Processing) and involving their team of food scientists from India, Japan and China. Using their technology, they have developed over 100 vegetarian and non-vegetarian products based on authentic, regional recipes that are high in nutrition and rich in taste, affordable and accessible to people across the country.

Ray believes in eating food as a cure, a common-sense diet which involves making eating choices based better understanding of food.

Ray is actively involved with outdoor sports like biking, running, and mountaineering, he has also participated in Marathons across the globe. Ray loves brainstorming ideas with young entrepreneurs and is an active Angel Investor who has invested in several startups in Silicon Valley and Bengaluru.

Naveen is the co-founder and COO of NÜTY .

Naveen started his Retail journey in the year 1998 with a customer-first approach and determined to build a strong ethical company that deeply cares about customers and suppliers, alike.

A serial entrepreneur with strong operational experience in Retail and supply chain. Naveen believes in turning ideas that have a greater societal impact into reality. He is passionate about building an inclusive supply chain that benefits all participants and bring greater transparency and inclusiveness to the marketplace.

Having experienced the benefits of Healthy Eating, Naveen co-founded Tulita Ahara and launched NÜTY with an aim to make nutrition the focus of peoples eating habits.

Since 2015, Naveen has spent considerable time travelling across remote regions and coastal areas of India to understand the seafood and agricultural supply chain. As a pioneer in Coast to Consumer supply chain, Naveen has built a wide network of farmers and fishermen from Kanyakumari to Nashik.

As a compassionate and thoughtful business leader, Naveen believes in mentoring and building long term relationship based on mutual trust.

Always on the move, Naveen pursues an active lifestyle and whenever he gets time, he spends with his family.

Naveen holds bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences and master’s degree in International Business and has also completed executive education from IIM-A in the field of contract farming.
